A critical concern of the pandemic has been the number of hospital beds available for patients. In regional Victoria, Bendigo Health has become one of the first hospitals to roll-out telemonitoring for suspected COVID-19 cases.

By supporting clinicians to manage cases ‘at home’, the teamplay myCare Companion ‘Pandemic’ application will provide an infrastructure to alleviate pressure on essential facilities and keep beds free for those who need them most.

After launch of their electronic health record at the end of 2015, the Styrian Hospital Corporation (KAGes) and the Vienna Hospital Association (KAV) in Austria needed the infrastructure to securely share patient data between facilities.

Siemens Healthineers provided the solution, prioritizing data security, usability, and long-term reliability.

Through using eHealth Virtual Visit, Grebe Noguera is establishing telehealth as a way to follow through on the strategic plan set by the hospital network’s new owners.

The CEO’s goals are clear: offer new medical services and products, improve patient experience, and more for the private hospital network in Chile.

The team at the Mannheim University Hospital has discovered a way to monitor their staff during the pandemic and keep them safe from infection through use of teamplay myCare Companion.

The staff can enter their data directly into the app, saving administration time. As a result, clinicians can respond quickly to unusual test results and send team members home or to their physician if necessary.

In 2018, Siemens Healthineers was already working with companies to further their virtual care tools with Swiss Post.

Their eHealth solution, which provides secure networking between patients and healthcare providers, worked in partnership with Siemens Healthineers to enable more services to be provided for its customers.
