Course Overview
This three-day course is intended for doctors, physicists, radiographers, technologists, nurses and other health professionals working with Siemens SPECT-CT and PET-CT systems.
The first two days provide the underpinning knowledge of CT principles and practice in SPECT-CT and PET-CT, and specialised CT applications for improving image quality and reducing radiation dose. It covers the areas of planning, acquisition, reconstruction, image viewing and manipulation, and quality control.
The third day builds on days 1 and 2, to provide training in how to optimise CT protocols specifically for the practices of SPECT-CT and PET CT, finding the best compromises between required image quality and
dose, and image quality problem-solving.
We will register people on a first come, first serve basis due to a limited number of participants.
