Coil handling – easy and fast to setup



MAGNETOM Free.Star’s coil portfolio connects to the table with SlideConnect technology, for easy coil set up. The Contour Coil is particularly easy and fast to setup, and adapts flexibly to the body contour of the patient. Unlike most systems, straps and Velcro fasteners are not needed to hold Contour Coils in place, not only making positioning easy and fast, but also adhering to hygiene standards. They can be positioned in different orientations for patient-specific adaptations, e.g. for hip, long bone, off-center imaging of the elbow, abdomen, pelvis or covering both.
