This workshop is curated specially for radiologists and sonographers like you and will be focusing on the key areas of Elastography in Ultrasound. At the end of this session, you will have a better understanding of the roles of Elastography in the Liver and Breast, in day-to-day ultrasound practice.

Breast Elastography
Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juhara Haron, Consultant Radiologist and Associate Professor, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia
Dr Juhara completed her post-graduate training in Master of Medicine, with a focus in Radiology and takes a special interest in Breast Imaging. Her main research areas are in breast imaging, volumetric breast sonography and breast ultrasound, and has also been involved in various research projects and grants. Some of her co-written publications in peer-reviewed journals include topics related to breast cancer in young pregnancy, among many others.

Liver Elastography
Speaker: Dr. Chandran Nadarajan, Clinical and Interventional Radiologist, Senior Lecturer of Radiology Department, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia
Apart from his current role as a radiologist, he is also a senior lecturer of the Radiology Department, School of Medical Sciences in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is also the coordinator of the Advanced Minimally Invasive Endovascular and Neurointervention Unit. His areas of interest and research lie in vascular and oncological intervention and diagnostic radiology.
