For three impactful days, we focused on "Illuminating Cancer Care," exploring the evolving role of imaging and intervention in clinical practice. Our hands-on workshops and educational sessions brought new insights into cancer imaging and intervention, guided by an internationally renowned faculty.

Advancing Interventional Oncology with Hybrid MR Innovations
Speaker: Prof. Jurgen Futterer, MITeC, Radboud University Medical Centre
Prof. Futterer shared his expertise in utilizing intraoperative MR and angiography imaging to enhance precision and safety during complex procedures. A highlight of the presentation was a new technology that enables seamless patient transfer between imaging modalities.
MRI-guided in-bore intervention is gaining in popularity, despite perceptions of complexity. Prof. Futterer shared his extensive practical experience and case studies - from percutaneous needle procedures, to tumor ablations with cryo, laser & microwave - demonstrating how they improve patient outcomes.
