We hosted our Embolization Workshop, which featured expert insights from Adj A/Prof Pua Uei (Senior Consultant, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital) and Adj A/Prof Lawrence Quek (Senior Consultant, Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital) on liver malignancy and genicular artery embolizations. 

Participants experienced live case demonstrations, attended lectures at Siemens Healthineers Customer Experience Centre, and engaged in hands-on practice with the latest interventional radiology equipment and embolics at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Prof. Futterer shared his expertise in utilizing intraoperative MR and angiography imaging to enhance precision and safety during complex procedures.  A highlight of the presentation was a new technology that enables seamless patient transfer between imaging modalities. 

MRI-guided in-bore intervention is gaining in popularity, despite perceptions of complexity. Prof. Futterer shared his extensive practical experience and case studies - from percutaneous needle procedures, to tumor ablations with cryo, laser & microwave - demonstrating how they improve patient outcomes.
