Dr. Luca Koechlin is a Cardiac Surgery Fellow at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Basel. His research focuses on the diagnosis of myocardial infarction and perioperative myocardial injury with a special focus on cardiac troponins and early triage algorithms.
