VersaCell System
The VersaCell™ system is a compact, robotic system that connects 2 stand-alone instruments in flexible configurations. Features include:
- A loading capacity of up to 200 patient samples
- Reduced sample handling with the use of some clinical chemistry instrument racks
- Continuous and immediate access to patient samples
- Connection to two IMMULITE 2000 or 2500 instruments to create an immunoassay system with a throughput of up to 400 tests per hour and a reagent capacity of 48 different assays
- Links to ADVIA 1800 and IMMULITE 2000 or 2500 system to consolidate chemistry and immunoassay testing
- The VersaCell system also enables IMMULITE 2000 to be connected to many of the open track-based laboratory automation systems available, including ADVIA LabCell and WorkCell and the StreamLab Analytical WorkCell
