Overview
Blood gas testing can be easily impacted by pre-analytic factors – including sample collection, environmental exposure, and proper sample mixing. This webinar will review how pre-analytic errors can be recognized and mitigated to avoid the age old “garbage in, garbage out” scenario – minimizing recollection and retesting while maximizing point of care blood gas testing efficiency.
Who Should Attend?
Physicians, Nurses, Point of Care coordinators, Respiratory therapists, Laboratory technicians/technologists
Attendees are entitled to P.A.C.E. credits from the ASCLS and/or ACCENT credits from the ADLM
