Dr. Kavsak is a Professor in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Academy, and the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. He provides service as a clinical biochemist within the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program and is primarily based at the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre with special clinical and academic focus and interests in the cardiac and cancer related laboratory tests. He has over 240 publications related to clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine.
