Laboratory testing errors can occur throughout all phases of the testing process, with 62% of laboratory testing errors occurring during the pre-analytical stage.1,2

Healthcare faces ever-changing, complex challenges in quality management. Notably, these include the practice of adapting traditional lab standards to point-of-care testing (POCT), where errors are frequent during the pre-analytical phase.

This webinar's emphasis on CLIA quality standards and the integration of Integri-sense Technology within RAPIDPoint® 500e System seeks to illuminate the path toward enhanced quality management at the point of care. By examining the multifaceted aspects of quality assurance processes and technology's role in bolstering accuracy, this webinar endeavors to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to deliver precise and reliable patient outcomes.

  • Comprehensively examine CLIA requirements for laboratory testing
  • Identify and mitigate sources of error in the various stages of patient testing
  • Understand and use design attributes to mitigate risks in point-of-care testing
  • Explain best practices in the individual quality control plan

This webinar aims to clarify the pivotal role of these technologies in ensuring accurate quality management and reliability in point-of-care testing environments.
