Sysmex CA-7000 SystemQuick processing of routine and specialty coagulation samples

The Sysmex® CA-7000 System is a fully automated, high performance, cap-piercing analyzer that efficiently processes routine and specialty assays. Utilizing complete random-access capabilities and second generation cap-piercing, it is the fastest throughput coagulation analyzer available for routine testing.

  • Enables even the busiest labs to meet workflow
    demands—approximately 500 results/hour when testing PT/APTT simultaneously
  • Results every 7 seconds, automated repeat, redilution, and reflex testing for rapid workflow processing time
  • The option to connect to a laboratory automation system (StreamLAB® System) is ideal for use in large routine laboratories.
  • Features manual bar-code reader for STAT results with a dedicated, easy access, five-position holder
  • Reduces potential of exposure to biohazards with second-generation cap-piercing technology
  • Continuous loading of samples, reagents, and reaction tubes without interrupting workflow

Features & Benefits

The Sysmex® CA-7000 Analyzer is the fastest instrument in the family of coagulation analyzers offered by Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. The system is ideal for high-volume laboratories running clotting, chromogenic, and immunologic assays simultaneously. Advanced software features allow analyzed data to be displayed, retained as stored data, or printed. Through a number of built-in features, such as automatic repeat, redilution, reflex testing, multi-dilution analysis (MDA), and STAT sample processing capabilities, the Sysmex CA-7000 adds speed and productivity to high-volume laboratories.

Efficiently processes a complete routine and specialty assay menu

  • Includes 20-parameter continuous, random-access capability for efficient and high speed throughput
  • Allows for individual customization with up to 40 user-programmable assay protocols on two test menu panels with 20 assays
  • Continuous loading of samples, reagent and reaction tubes without interrupting workflow allows STAT samples to be processed at any time
  • Offers micro-mode direct sampling for limited plasma samples
  • Includes multiple dilution analysis (MDA) for factor assays—easy to interpret graphic parallel line display for inhibitor identification
  • Accepts a mix of open and closed tubes, as well as sample cups for flexibility in sample processing
  • Provides easy to interpret results through a high level of result correlation with other Sysmex and Siemens Analyzers

Helps eliminate operational errors

  • Identifies and automatically confirms reagent lots and types for complete confidence in sample testing
  • Reduces the need for manual reagent checks through reagent surface sensing and reagent volume alarm
  • Increases security and peace-of-mind with reagent rack lock-in
  • Reduces set-up time with built-in reagent bar code reader
  • Saves valuable technician time through automatic calculation of sample volume; up to 3 vials for each reagent
  • Ensures positive confirmation of patient ID with an integrated patient bar-code reader

Integrates with your quality assurance program

  • Allows for lab customization and ease of crossover studies with up to 20 files per parameter
  • Includes Westgard Rules and Levey-Jennings Charts for extensive quality control
  • Performs simultaneous calibration and routine operation, preventing workflow back-up
  • Enables bi-directional connectivity with laboratory or hospital information systems, allowing for safe management of patient files
