Healthcare professionals today face ever-changing, complex challenges in all areas of care delivery whether it’s in the Emergency department or in the pre-hospital phase. Often, essential roles such as EMS first responders, EMTs, and paramedics are tasked with managing acute health episodes and chronic disease exacerbations. With the help of point-of-care testing (POCT) devices in the pre-hospital phase, first responders can quickly identify critical conditions.

In this webinar, the audience will learn about a real-world use case of point-of-care testing (POCT) within the pre-hospital phase.  Our presenters, Chris Briggs, M.S., and Justin Northeim, D.O., both accredited EMS professionals, will discuss their direct experiences when incorporating POCT into their routine EMS activities.

  • Comprehensively examine EMS workflows, highlighting the use of POCT devices in various emergency scenarios
