Siemens Healthineers recently cooperated with the Consulate General of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City on the panel discussion “Women’s Day ahead: Let’s talk about her (health)” on the 6th of March, attracting more than 60 participants. The event focused on the initiative of building a sustainable health community by raising awareness around women’s health.

Moderated by Dr. Josefine Wallat, Consulate General of Federal Republic of Germany, Ho Chi Minh City, panelists, including:

  • Elisabeth Staudinger, Member of the Managing Board, Siemens Healthineers; 
  • Dr. Dao Thi Thuy Linh, Director, MammoCare Center Hanoi; 
  • Dr. Jane Shadwell-Li, Internal Medicine Department, Family Medical Practice; 
  • Ms. Tran Huyen Nhung, General Manager, Tam Nhung Social Enterprise; 
  • Ms. Vuong Ngoc Vy Van, Head of Fundraisings & Communication, Saigon Children’s CIO Charity,

gave their valuable insights from their respective professional fields.

Using the momentum of the upcoming International Women’s Day, the panel discussion was a platform to foster open communication, education, and support for women's specific health issues including early detection and modern diagnostics, mental health, stigmas in women's health, checkups experience, and preventive care.

Asked to share her experience on women’s health during the panel discussion, Elisabeth Staudinger, Member of the Managing Board, Siemens Healthineers said: “Women’s health is an incredibly important topic. Let’s tackle this topic by not thinking of it as a cost but as an investment”.
