Siemens Healthineers recently convened with the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Vietnam to discuss potential avenues for enhancing healthcare cooperation within the country. This meeting aimed to explore opportunities for Siemens Healthineers to support the advancement of Vietnam's healthcare system.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Minister of the Health Ministry, as well as other representatives from different departments and agencies under the Ministry of Health. Ms. Vy Tran, President of Asian Pacific and Japan led the Siemens Healthineers' delegations with other representatives from Siemens Healthineers Vietnam.
During the meeting, the two parties engaged in discussions on a variety of important issues, including enhancing access to medical care, developing the current Medical Equipment Law and advancing the skills of healthcare professionals, with a particular emphasis on the fields of radiotherapy and oncology.
Representing the Ministry of Health, Dr. Do Xuan Tuyen expressed gratitude for Siemens Healthineers' significant contributions to Vietnam's healthcare sector and offered encouragement to maintain the impactful work. In response, Vy reaffirmed Siemens Healthineers’ commitment to ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Health to enhance the quality of medical care for the people of Vietnam.
