Cardiac CT on the Edge, Force and Drive - Virtual Training

This course is designed for Radiographers and aims to give users a better understanding of the most important factors influencing the quality of cardiac CT acquisition. A recap of cardiac anatomy, ECG principles, common clinical indications and patient preparation will be provided. The importance of temporal resolution in relation to scanner hardware and heart rate will be considered. 

ECG-gating will be explained and related to the different acquisition modes available, the advantages and disadvantages of each will be discussed and put into clinical context. Scan and reconstruction parameters together with the options available will be explained in detail using our dedicated simulation software for extensive hands-on practice.
