Laura Bechtel is a DABCC certified Clinical Chemist and completed her training at the University of Virginia. She has a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a M.S./B.S. in Microbiology. Dr. Bechtel has previous experience as a Section Director, Lab Director, and Technical Director at Memorial Sloan Kettering, University of Colorado Anschutz, Cordant, and Kaiser Permanente. She recently joined Siemens Healthineers as a Medical Affairs Strategy Consultant to support laboratorians and clinicians with utilization of test methodologies focused on improving patient care.
