Diagnosis and management of IgG4-related disease

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is an immune-mediated condition causing fibroinflammatory lesions in nearly any organ. Prof. Della-Torre introduces IgG4-related disease and then explains how the disease is diagnosed and managed in clinics and laboratories. The diagnosis is complex and requires not only laboratory testing such as serum IgG4 concentrations, serum free light chains (sFLCs), and electrophoresis but also clinical, radiological, and pathological data.
