Siemens Healthineers has made an unstoppable commitment to transform medical imaging with the NAEOTOM® Alpha class, featuring three photon-counting CT systems. These systems enhance diagnostic results and processes across various clinical scenarios using proven Quantum Technology and AI-powered productivity solutions.1 Address the limitations of conventional CT and set a new standard of care with the NAEOTOM Alpha class.

If you can’t see it, you can’t diagnose it. If you can’t diagnose it, you can’t treat it. The NAEOTOM Alpha class delivers precise anatomical details with Quantum HD resolution with up to 0.2 mm, and Quantum Spectral imaging in every scan enables precise functional evaluation. Address limitations of conventional CT and experience the profound clinical impact of photon-counting CT.

Enabled by the up to 0.2 mm slice thickness of Quantum HD, the visualization of small anatomical details that cannot be seen with conventional CT technology delivers conclusive insights. These support clinical decision making, with the potential to streamline patient pathways. Quantum HD images offer optimized results without a dose increase. It also supports clinicians in evaluating stent patency, detection and diagnostic characterization of tumors, confident analysis of resectability, and identification of small abnormalities.

Quantum Spectral Imaging delivers detailed spectral maps in every scan—enabling functional evaluation with high precision and conclusiveness even in patients previously excluded from CT, such as patients who cannot hold their breath or have a high calcium load. No scan mode preselection, or compromises between speed, coverage, and spectral information. The scanners support cardiovascular risk stratification: Studies have reported on the use of Quantum Spectral Imaging to maximize diagnostic information in thoracic imaging.1

Staff shortages, more patients, and manual processes complicate healthcare delivery. Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), workflows with smart technologies—from patient positioning to scanning, result creation and reading—automate processes, save time, and add efficiency.

myExam Companion provides guidance and navigation for an intelligent, patient-centric scan and reading workflow, and helps users achieve consistent results. AI-driven automated preparation and acquisition workflows provide critical time-savings and reduce the burden on staff. For example, multiphase procedure preparation can be included without duplicating protocols, streamlining oncology procedures, and resulting in 74% faster workflows and 87% fewer clicks for abdomen acquisitions, and 82% time savings and 91% fewer clicks for brain acquisitions.2 It also optimizes parameters for individual patients and procedures to help generate the comprehensive information radiologists need.

The easy-to-use solutions in myExam Companion support user- and patient-friendly experiences that help improve the quality of care. The intuitive design means even inexperienced users profit from a fast workflow. One-touch patient positioning, accurate isocenter, and zero-click postprocessing for PACS-ready evaluation all help easily optimize productivity and enable leveraging the full potential of the scanner in each exam. The transformative connectivity of Fleetlink helps leverage the power of Siemens Healthineers digital offerings that connect people, data and technology to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of care.
