Faces of FlexForce
Hear from some of our techs about their experience.
My experience as a FlexForce Tech helped improve patient care by giving me more time to explain and prepare the patient for their exam. I've been trained on how to troubleshoot errors and thoroughly screen patients for any contraindications. This creates a faster daily throughput of patients making room to add more where necessary.
I think being a FlexForce CT Technologist provides an invaluable experience due to our specialized clinical skillset and knowledge of our Siemens products. For example, I was able to revamp an outdated trauma protocol exam and workflow to reduce the patient exam length and radiation dose. As someone looking to grow professionally, I appreciate the vast educational resources available to me as well as the large community at Siemens Healthineers that I get to be a part of!
After the pandemic, I was ready for a change and hoping to expand my radiology career. I was given this opportunity which promised me flexibility and career growth, so I decided to take that leap of faith and go for it. It was the best decision and continues to prove that work-life balance exists.
Joining the FlexForce team has been the single most influential decision in my professional development thus far. Siemens Healthineers has not only provided me with the means of career expansion through internal promotion but has also invested in my future aspirations of leadership advancement. This unique position allowed me to develop a wide scope of understanding in specialized nuclear medicine studies, interpersonal communication, and various department protocols.
In April 2023, Siemens Healthineers invited me to the 2023 Innovations Symposium which was held in April in the city of New Orleans. While attending the events, I was able to meet and network with many people. As a result, I was offered an opportunity to apply for a position as a Contract MR Application Specialist.
