Our brand sound encapsulates our brand personality musically, considering all unique brand design elements:
- Our logo's dot matrix is translated into a forward-moving triplet beat.
- Our word mark is represented on the piano, with each letter corresponding to a key. Letters without musical equivalents form a digital heartbeat. These elements combine to create our sound logo.
- The dot pulse is another key element. Musically, we applied the distances between the dots to rhythm and pitch, creating an attention-grabbing figure.
Our brand sound and audio pieces are consistently used across all touchpoints, from health music for patient relaxation, product interfaces, and telephone on-hold music, to films and events.

What is our purpose?

Siemens Healthineers is a relatively young brand. It was introduced in 2016 as a stand-alone company within Siemens. Our logo embodies our heritage, our team, and our innovation leadership:
- The name "Siemens" signifies our strong heritage, representing over 120 years as the medtech arm of Siemens AG, our main shareholder.
- "Healthineers" is a tribute to our employees, combining 'healthcare', 'engineers', and 'pioneers' to reflect their excellence and innovative spirit.
- The forward-pointing dots ("dot matrix") symbolize our future-focused, innovative approach to our people, products, and services.
Our company history

- The Siemens Petrol-colored portrait represents the people central to our mission, symbolizing humanity rather than specific individuals.
- The Healthy Orange overlay adds context, relating to the key message of the communication asset with clinical or scientific images, or a combination of both.
Featuring Siemens' distinctive petrol and our orange brand color, our key visuals honor our heritage while ensuring immediate brand recognition in the medtech industry. This unique color composition makes Siemens Healthineers instantly recognizable, even without a logo.
Typography is a key element of our brand. We developed our own font, SH-Bree-Headline, primarily used in our orange brand color for headlines. For body copy and other texts, we use Siemens Sans, honoring our heritage.
As in most clinical settings, our dominant color is white. It stands for cleanliness, precision, and high tech–reflecting the healthcare world of Siemens Healthineers.
Black is a natural stage for original medical imagery. As a background color, black enables the best presentation of our medical imagery and key visuals.
Our unique brand color, Healthy Orange, along with Siemens Petrol, connects us to Siemens.
